Hello Teachers,

It’s day two of being sick.

But I’m feeling a little better today, so that’s a win.

Anyway, instead of watching Netflix all day, I created two new resources.

(I have nothing against Netflix, by the way)

First up: Spider-Sense Training: The Ultimate Directions Challenge—now with a video prompt.

(And yes, I realize I use the word ultimate in about half the things I create.

Just go with it, bruh. It’s a great word.)

Oh, and just in case you missed it, here’s a similar prompt I shared about a month ago.

These activities are designed to reinforce the importance of carefully reading directions before beginning any assignment. Many students tend to skim instructions and rush into their work, which can lead to errors, confusion, and unnecessary frustration. These challenges provide a fun, engaging, and memorable way to highlight the importance of attention to detail.

Next up is an activity called A Snapshot for End-of-the-Year Me.

The purpose of this task is for students to create a snapshot of their lives as they are today—something they can revisit at the end of the school year and see how much has changed.
