Modern Mastery! (Updated Writing Prompts)

Hello Teachers,

I’m working on turning Modern Mastery into a book.
But before I do, I’m piloting the following prompts with my students over the next year.

This trial run will help me see what resonates, how students respond, and what needs to be refined or added. Below, you’ll find the exact videos and worksheets I’ll be using.

I do have one favor to ask:
If you find these prompts valuable, please consider sharing this Google Doc and my newsletter with other teachers.

Since my Facebook account was suspended (super frustrating), my usual outreach has been limited. But word of mouth is powerful—and your support means a lot.

Thank you so much!

This is just one way to play it. You can easily remix the game by giving the spy a secret task to complete—which is especially fun (and challenging) for older students. Hello Teachers, I apologize for the delay. I’ve been dealing with some health issues over the past month and spent time in the hospital. For those new to Tolentino Teaching, my mission is simple: to create fresh, relevant resources and share them freely. If something helps you, you’re welcome to donate—but if now isn’t the right time, or these resources aren’t...
